Healing Ministry

Coordinator: Joyce Duncan

The Healing Ministry is grounded in the teachings of Jesus and our Christian faith.  The power of healing comes from God and the practitioners are channels for the flow of that healing energy for your highest good.

Healing Team is founded on the belief that all people have the ability to facilitate healing through compassionate intent and that energy- based healing can be integrated with other forms of health care.

Our healing team does reach out to hospital, home and nursing home visits, and our mission is to grow that portion of our ministry in the future.  Enquires about joining the Healing Team, or appointments to receive Healing Team, should be directed through the church office

For more information about Healing Team please visit the Healing Ministry webpage.

Prayer Ministry

Coordinator: Fran Porter

The Prayer Ministry is a dedicated group committed to the power of prayer and the presence of God within all human situations. Our directives come from the scriptures. Prayer Chain members pray individually and together.

Matthew 18:19-20 says, "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.

And in Mark 11:24, we read, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

All who believe in the power and healing energy of prayer, or would like to enrich their own lives through prayer, are welcome to join us. If you wish to request a prayer please drop off your requests in the Prayer Box located at the back of the Sanctuary or contact the church office.

Prayer Ministry Team webpage: Team members must login in order to be able to access this page. The Web Administrator must also set up each individual's access with approval by Fran Porter only.
